Ms Arefin is a persevering individual with a great deal of experience of working in commercial and public sector. She is exceptionally qualified with four degrees (Bachelors in Law from University of London, Masters Degrees in Law from University of East London, Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Economics from University of Dhaka). Her strength lies in her ability to learn quickly and produce accurately. Ms. Arefin is blessed with strong interpersonal skills, and able to work well as part of a team. Ms Arefin has an experience in working in a reputed British Law Firm for a substantial period of time and is confident, mature and able to work well under pressure. She has a strong interest in human rights (LLM in International Human Rights, and incorporating women's rights).

Being a scholarly student throughout her academic career, Ms. Arefin achieved three National Scholarships. She is a bright activist and is very articulate when she speaks which is demonstrated in her skills of advocacy and negotiation. Apart from being an enthusiastic hard working legal professional Ms. Arefin has got some of her writings published as well. She has shown excellence in her oratory performances and is keen in exhibiting dynamic leadership qualities, supplemented by creative organizing skills.
